Engineering the future of intralogistics: CEO Thomas Kruithof on why Tuskrobots Europe was founded

Across European intralogistics, we’re seeing the same pressure points everywhere: labor shortages, rising safety expectations, and the need to keep material flow stable 24/7. That’s the context in which Tuskrobots Europe was born with a clear philosophy: deliver high-tech technology across the European Union, and make pallet-handling automation genuinely workable in day-to-day operations.

Thomas, why was Tuskrobots Europe created and why now?

Tuskrobots Europe was created to address a critical need in European warehouses and production sites: efficient, reliable pallet movement.  We saw that pallet movement is a critical layer in both warehouses and production and at the same time one of the biggest bottlenecks. Our mission was to bring to the EU a solution that is mature, safe, and deployable fast, so it can reduce the unpredictability of manual transport and relieve pressure on people in operations.

What does your philosophy “Deliver high-tech technology across the EU” mean in practice?

For us, it means three things a standardized platform for pallet flows that can be adapted to local processes, an end-to-end approach—from use-case discovery and integration through safety validation, training, and support, scalability across regions—so customers don’t have to reinvent automation for every new site.

What are Tuskrobots solutions for—what problems do they solve?

Our solutions focus on automating pallet transport in warehouses and production environments: stabilizing line supply, reducing aisle congestion, eliminating unnecessary “touchpoints,” and raising safety in mixed environments where people and machines share the same space. The goal is simple: make material flow predictable, measurable, and orchestrated what Industry 4.0 should look like in real life, not just on slides.

What makes your approach “practical”?

We don’t lead with hype we lead with deployment logic and performance. For example, TuskES-S is positioned as a standalone AMR solution designed to accelerate intralogistics automation, featuring up to 1,000 kg payload, SLAM navigation, 360° obstacle detection, and intuitive operation built for rapid adoption and day-one usability. Just as important as performance is compliance our solution is CE certified, which means it meets the EU’s applicable health, safety, and environmental protection requirements and can be legally placed on the market across the European Economic Area.

Where can people meet you next?

In March, we’ll be exhibiting at LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart (24–26 March 2026) together with Asseco CEIT Hall 8, Stand 8D71. We’ll show how pallet-flow automation can be implemented in a modular, scalable way with an emphasis on real deployment and integrations.
